Frequently Asked Questions
Please find below the most commonly asked questions about kids camp. If your question is not here, please do not hesitate to contact either your Church Representative or the Kids Camp Committee for further questions or clarification.
Who can come to kids camp?
Children must either be in 1st to 5th grade OR be 6 years old by July 31st to attend Summer Kids Camp or December 31st to attend Winter Kids Camp. Children should be able to stay away from home on their own (with servants) and be potty trained and be able to bathe themselves.
Where is Kids Camp?
The location of camp changes from Summer Camp to Winter Camp. We try to have one in the northern half and one in the southern half of the state to make it as convenient as possible for the Florida Churches. Please check the about page for speific details on the upcoming camp.
How does rooming work at camp?
Children are divided into cabins by gender and grade with 1 servant for every 4 children. Each child gets their own bunk in a bunk bed. Unfortunately, special rooming requests (children or servants) cannot be accommodated. The goal is for the children to develop new friendships with other children and create bonds with new servants.
How will we get to the camp and get home?
Each Church coordinates transportation to and from the camp, please contact your Church Representative for further details.
What do we do at camp?
We spend 4 days in Christian fellowship with others from Churches across Florida. We pray and play and grow together in Christ. Check out our schedule and pictures and videos to see what we have done before!
How does the Bible Contest work?
The Bible Contest will be on a book from the New Testament. Teams are made up of each Church. The contest is an interactive electronic trivia game.
Who can serve at Kids Camp?
Servants must have graduated high school to serve at kids camp. They must also EITHER be directly involved in the service of children at their home church OR have served at a previous Kids Camp. They must also be approved by their Church Priest. Servants MUST be able to attend the entire duration of camp.
